GloBird Energy was founded in 2014 and aims to deliver cost-effective energy with friendly customer service.

The company is currently based in Melbourne.

Residents of NSW, Queensland and South Australia can choose from three gas and electricity plans, and there are four plans that are exclusive to Victorians.

EasySave (NSW, VIC, QLD)

An electricity or gas plan that offers ongoing savings when you pay by direct debit.

• Competitive ongoing rates

• Available for electricity or gas

• No lock-in contracts or exit fees  

ComboElec/ComboGas (NSW, QLD, SA, VIC)

A combined electricity and gas plan that offers savings when you bundle your services

Key inclusions:

• 8% discount when you pay by direct debit

• Monthly billing

• No lock-in contracts or exit fees 

SureSave (VIC)

An electricity plan for Victorians. Customers can get a small discount when they combine with a gas plan.

Key inclusions:

• 1% discount on usage and supply charges when you pay on time with direct debit

• Specifically designed for Victorian residents

• Paper bills available

UltraSave (VIC)

A gas plan that bills you every two months, based on actual reads.

Key inclusions:

• 1% discount when you pay by on time with direct debit

• Bills based on meter reads rather than monthly estimates

• No lock-in contracts or exit fees 

UltraSaveCombo (VIC)

A combined electricity and gas plan that bills you every two months, based on actual reads.

Key inclusions:

• 3% discount when you pay by on time with direct debit

• Bills based on meter reads, rather than monthly estimates

• No exit fees

IdeaSave (VIC)

An electricity plan that offers a yearly membership to “Small Ideas”, an online discount service that offers families percentage-based discounts to a range of attractions.

Key inclusions:

• Offers discounts on Luna Park (25% discount for VIC)

• GloBird pays a loyalty credit of $33, meaning you only pay $5.45 instead of $38.45

• Hundreds of discount deals across VIC, NSW, QLD and WA

Does GloBird Energy offer business plans?

There are currently no business plans available for gas and only one electricity plan available for businesses in VIC.

Biz VicSave (VIC)

An electricity plan that gives Victorian businesses price certainty for 12 months.

Key inclusions:

• 1% discount when you pay on time with direct debit

• Rates locked in for at least one year

• No lock-in contracts or exit fees

Ways to pay your bills

You can pay your bills through direct debit, or using your credit card online or over the phone or via BPAY. 

You can also pay in person at Australia Post and your local Commonwealth Bank branch, or over the phone. You can also send a cheque. 

Does GloBird Energy offer member benefits?

GloBird Energy offers discounts via their “IdeaSave” energy plan, but this is only available for VIC customers.

There are currently no member benefits or reward programs for customers in other states.
