I was contacted by a male representative who reviewed my health cover and it was agreed I was on the best combined plan for my needs. Of concern is that I was informed I was NOT covered for "Joint Replacement" with HCF which surprised me as 18 mths ago I had an Ankle Replacement which HCF covered. I highlighted that in my opinion, and limited medical knowledge, the ankle is indeed a joint! I was put on hold while the representative took advice but the good news is that my cover did indeed cover Joint replacement. I appreciate that the procedure I underwent is new and maybe the guidance paperwork the representative referred to requires updating! I was then transferred to a female to discuss my energy plans. She could not have been more patient and helpful and appreciated totally I had been cold called and did not have the info to hand to answer her questions without some "Digging". We got there, due to her patience and understanding of the situation, and I I am delighted with the result. I apologise for using "Male/Female" as usually I record names. I will use IInet as an example that when I call I am always sent an email providing the name of the representative and invited to provide personal feedback. This maybe something Compare Club would wish to investigate. Many Thanks Mel

I have always been hesitant to take these calls but turns out that may have been a very silly decision on my part. This was the most seamless and easy process which although didn't save me anything in $ value, found me a much better hospital & extras policy than I currently had, without costing me anything more. Win, win!

The consultant explained the process and provided options for electricity and gas suppliers. He indicated that the process did not include all suppliers but based on my current costs he recommended separate suppliers for gas and electricity. I have to assume that the information provided was the best available and to my benefit.
