Do they offer green energy?

AGL is GreenPower accredited.

Existing customers have the opportunity to add Green Energy to their electricity plan nominating the amount of accredited green energy they’d like AGL to buy on their behalf.

This can be an additional 10%, 20% or 100% on top of their electricity bill.

Carbon neutral options are also available across AGL products.

Residential customers can add certified Carbon Neutral to their electricity plan for $1 a week and to gas plans for $0.50 a week, to support projects that help reduce emissions.

What solar plans are offered?

AGL offers solar rebates.

Eligible customers can be paid a solar feed-in tariff with any of their electricity plans.

The rate will depend on what state you are in and the size of your solar power system. 

Customers who seek the most generous solar rebates can sign up to the Solar Savers residential plan.

What residential plans are offered?

AGL Energy offers three residential plans with a range of prices available.

AGL Super Saver (electricity and gas)

AGL Super Saver offers customers low rates that won’t change for 12 months, with electricity 18% less than the Reference Price.

How can people pay for their bill?

You can pay your bill through the AGL app, online through My Account, set up Direct Debit, through BPAY and PayPal.

You can also choose to pay in weekly, fortnightly or monthly instalments rather than quarterly.

Customers can also pay through SMS, Centrepay (Centrelink recipients), as well as through mail and via Australia Post.

All AGL residential customers are able to register for AGL rewards, giving them access to rewards and discounts across shopping, food, groceries and experiences.

AGL energy customers will also receive a discount on AGL’s nbn plans.
